The West Loop is one of Chicago’s fastest growing and most vibrant areas. It is also one of the best places for loft living, which is helping to heat the district up to a higher degree as a residential destination. It is an adaptive reuse project that will convert the 7-story former printing warehouse into loft condominiums. 123 Sangamon will offer 54,000 square feet of living space to its residents and give them a great spot in a great location. From here, access to dining, art galleries, entertainment, and more is a snap, as is getting into downtown proper for all things work-related.
Speedwagon Properties acquired the note for this project in 2010. Synergy Construction Group has worked in concert with Speedwagon to expedite a resolution to outstanding permit and code issues while maintaining strict budget and scheduling goals. In addition, this challenging project required the approval of neighborhood groups in order to succeed. Synergy has added value by managing this process as well, in addition to monitoring overall soft costs to ensure project success.
